I am going with Smash on the VC.

Its 10th anniversary in the US is coming up on April 26th. It released on Jan 21st, 1999 in Japan, so that would make it "over 10 years ago".

In Japan for the games 10th anniversary they got Smash Bros on the VC (Jan 20th, 2009), we will most likely see the release on April 27th, 2009.

As I also said, it is mentioned that the color scheme is similar to that used in the Smash Bros. universe.
