Didn't Pokemon begin in 1998? That would make just "over 10 years ago" and I am damn sure it is a "Legacy".
Yeah I know Platinum is right around the corner, but maybe they are doing something new with the series? Proper console release maybe?

Only other game I can think of that was 10 years ago is Smash Bros. but that was in April so it hasn't even been 10 years yet in the US (just over 10 years in Japan). I was going to guess maybe Smash Bros. on the VC.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

I want to say Punch-Out but that started way more than 10 years ago...so maybe Sin & Punishment.
Actually they could just be doing an official blowout for Excitebots since it is coming out in a few weeks. Granted, that franchise is sort of closer to 20 years itself too...

The 10-19 year thing makes since. The first thing I thought of was Pokemon is a little over 10 years old. Maybe a Wii version of pokemon?
My next thought was maybe a new Star Fox game. We haven't gotten one of those since Assualt for gamecube and Command for DS.
Fzero game would be cool. Maybe Smash 64 for Virtual Console or a Smash game for DS.
