Didn't Pokemon begin in 1998? That would make just "over 10 years ago" and I am damn sure it is a "Legacy".

Yeah I know Platinum is right around the corner, but maybe they are doing something new with the series? Proper console release maybe?

Just throwing an idea out there.

Only other game I can think of that was 10 years ago is Smash Bros. but that was in April so it hasn't even been 10 years yet in the US (just over 10 years in Japan). I was going to guess maybe Smash Bros. on the VC.

Man.  I would pay $200 for a large, Pokemon Yellow/Red etc like game on Wii (fully fleshed out of course) with ONLY the first 150 Pokemon.

There are currently enough Pokemon to make three different games with ~150-160 Pokemon apiece in them, roughly divided along generation lines. Four if the latter three generations have the ~100 unique to them.

Please do not give Nintendo any ideas.

Come on man, the first generation was EASILY the best, as were the associated games.  But all consoles ever got were things like Snap and Stadium, not proper RPG's.

RPG's like that on the first Generation in console form could be the best games of all time.

Why do you want them to take so much of my life away

I have bills to pay!

You and me both.  If that game happened, I would probably defer uni for half a year.

No love for Ice Climbers?

Ice Climber is going on 24 years old.  They probably would have said more than 20 years ago if it was Ice Climber.

That would make it far more obvious though.  10 years would keep people guessing.

so Zelda is a real possibility right

They could also be describing a remake of a game, even though it had sequels recently.

Could be a remake of Ocarina with waggle.

I want to say Punch-Out but that started way more than 10 years ago...so maybe Sin & Punishment.

Actually they could just be doing an official blowout for Excitebots since it is coming out in a few weeks. Granted, that franchise is sort of closer to 20 years itself too...

Smash Bros on VC?

That's what I think too.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

So IGN just got the ESRB info stating Rock n Roll Climber info about it basically being the same idea as Ice Climbers, but IGN stated it's coming to WiiWare.

So that may be a possibility. Though I hope if they're going to tease, it will at least be more then a WiiWare title, I'm rooting on something Zelda or Pokemon.
