Does this mean there will be a new FPS game to rival Killzone?
I aint really played any CryEngine games (or whatever they are) so i only seen Crysis, dont know if they do any other genre. But a new FPS to rival Killzones graphics engine would be awesom.

No, Killzone's graphics owned all. It was just the PS2 that couldn't handle it.

I'm no sure what's NOT to love about this news? Having another high powered engine on the market is great, since it pushes the competition, and it provides better options for developers to choose in working on new games...seems like great news for gamers, unless you're a fan of a game engine....now THAT'S pretty sad...when you start having a favorite game engine....lol.

Because it will be the same thing we had 2 years ago, but a little better optimized. It means we haven't moved forward an inch since then. That's why it's bad news.

So Crytek are about to make Epics and GG engines for Gears 2 and KZ2 look like childsplay on 360 and PS3. And who said that the 360 and PS3 were maxed?
