I wouldnt say step back as the PC version of the engine will probably perform like the CryENGINE 2 but have a bit nicer hardware requirements.

 

Yeah, when it should look better than Cryengine 2. Basically the technology is stagnating and not going forward, because the consoles just cant handle it.

we will have to see actually, its to early to tell. If they put in DX11 support things will be different.

you realize most $10,000 PCs are because of brand name and specialized case... you can build the EXACT same PCs minus the case, which you can buy more efficient cases, for around $2000 if your going for the Core i7 965, SLi/Crossfire, 8GB+ ram, etc which are all basically pointless at the moment as no one is developing for that level of technology yet.

Do they not realize that Photoshop has nearly a 1:1 piracy ratio yet Adobe makes massive profit off of the sales that offsets the piracy...
