So how does LAIR compare to another legend of our industry?

Daikatana? (picking this, as its the only 'AAA' title I can think of that flunked...)

User rating of 3.7

At the moment LAIR is leading it on GameRankings... but not by much (52% vrs 60%).

Any bets as to which title will come out on top? I think LAIR will - but not by much.

From reading the forums at GS and GT, alot of people playing Lair are saying that Lair is a great game and that the reviews have been quite harsh. I'm still going to get Lair, as I trust players reviews more than the critics.

I trust critic reviews more than player reviews. Sounds like a game you'll want to rent, just to see what it's all about, and perhaps gaze at it in HD, but otherwise I think it's been long settled that this game isn't worth buying, at least according to an overwhelming majority.

 True, though journalist are critics, and they tend to be more picky on a range of factors that everyday gamers are most likey to accept overall.

Oh I'm sure it'll get at least 50k...it's still a big game, and lots of PS3 owners will probably buy the game regardless of reviews.

I just buy it...

Graphics are great, sound and music are great.

Controls are generally ok after you were able to master them, except some time when motion didn't work.

And a major point... FRAMERATE IS HORRIBLE !!!!!
