I don't know how you made it through the NES era.

Hahaha.
A few years ago I went nuts and started beating Super Mario Bros. in under 6 minutes at least 5 times a day for a month or 2.

Do you buy games based on how long they are rather than how good they are? |
I find that most games aren't fun enough to sustain 20 hours of my interest.

Back then games didn't cost nearly as much. Also, for the most part, they were more challenging to play.

Are you serious? Am I just remembering wrong, here? I mean, even without factoring inflation.
|
In the NES era you're saying that they cost $60 dollars? No I wasn't around. My age is a lie.

I wasn't being sarcastic, I really don't know and I was actually asking you. How much did the average game cost? Like, how much was Zelda when it came out?
|
If you aren't being sarcastic, than how could you be remembering wrong? Zelda did cost quite a bit.

I'm only 21.
How much?
|
Way more than today's games, even before you count inflation.
