Yeah, Bond sucks. And Killzone 2 been talked about for years. If that is what it takes for a hit on the PS3 not many games stand a chance to be a hit. It's a shame.

Kaz Hirai is really really bad at talking to the press. No idea why they made him head of new gaming division. Ps3 gamers generally brought it on themselves. Fanboys used to say shit like HS graphics can only be done on Ps3, MGS4, FF13 are only possible on Ps3. Ps3 is still top console because of Tekken.
People bash their exclusives because they're really over hyped and aren't really pushing the boundaries of gaming, a Halo killer, or a masterpiece only Ps3 can accomplish.
Kaz has said things like Ps3 is a premium product you should get a job for, it's only for those who really want it and it's worth it. He also thinks Ridge Racer is awesome.

Most of my expierences are from PSU forums (official sony forums). Ps3 fanboys are really bad there, especially in 06/07.
Knight in shining armor = Killzone 2 ? I have a feeling that this year Killzone 2 will be surpassed by another excellent exclusive. There is so much potential there... it makes me hunger =)_

Yes it did, VGC numbers (which very well could be lower than the actual) are only for the first few days. So yes, for the first FULL week it did break 750k.

It's still a big step. Ps2 wasn't known for FPS and all Ps3 really had was Resistance and multiplat titles. KZ2 is trying to bring in the FPS crowd by having the quality to compare to Halo.

Not really. MGS4 was part of an established franchise with a large fanbase. Killzone 2 showed that even a game which is essentially a new IP can break 700,000 first week, and come close to a Call of Duty game released in the holiday season.
It needs a TV special now.
