Go through sometime and look at all the random Xbox 360 games that have like a 3 rating based on five votes. Gears of War was at 6.6 at one point. It doesn't really matter (and please tell that to the people bothering to give these games such low scores), but that doesn't change the fact that those who are going through and rating down games they have never even played based on the platform are absolute douchebags.

Some Xbox 360 game scores on vgchartz:

Oblivion: 7.44, PGR 3: 5.00, CoD 3: 4.35, Rayman Raving Rabbids 4.64, Quake 4: 3.82, Project Sylpheed 3.29, two NFS games: 4s, two GRAW games: 6s, Lost Planet 6.70, Lord of the Rings: 2.13(!!), CoD 2: 5.78, Dead Rising 7.14, Fight Night 3: 5.63

 


The reason for those low 360 scores is because PS3 fanboys have nothing better to do then spend hours low balling 360 games...

Can you blame them?? How much time can you actually spend watching a PS3 fold stuff?

The majority of people here may be fans of Nintendo.  I don't know if I would stick around here if Nintendo wasn't doing well.  Since the people here are also interested in sales numbers, I wonder what percentage of us are shareholders in Nintendo.  As a shareholder it is particularly pleasurable to me to read the sales charts week after week.  Vgchartz forums have become my favorite forums on the internet in fact.  Once I sell my shares I wonder if I'll still have interest in coming here.  I think a poll should be started to find out how many of us own stock in Nintendo.  I'm curious to know.  I think people who spend so much time with the numbers should be making it pay off for them.

Shams and benkanobi are wii fanboys. No clue why they are mods.

Theres an obvious double standart on here, wii fanboys can get away with alot more and its usually thanks to the bais of shams or benkanoibi.

Game ranking prove this pace is a wii fanboy haven.

Well, if it's PS3 fanboys who are rating down the 360 games, those scores are fair.  After all, every one of those games needs to be rated down because they're not on Bluray!

                 With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Oh and my opinion on game rankings is - dont pay attention to them, they dont mean much.

 QFT, this is absolutely the reason this site has a percieved Nintendo Bias.  Nintendo sales are constant positive news which equates to Nintendo fans being attracted to the site.

In reality if more people who come here like Nintendo it makes perfect sense for the Nintendo games to be rated high on those lists. This carries over to the forum, and pretty much every aspect of the site...with exception to the numbers.  The numbers are done impartially and it wouldn't make sense for them to be done any other way if you consider the fact that part of the appeal of any sales tracking site is accuracy.  So sacrificing accuracy just to make nintendo fanboys happy would be a very shortsighted thing to do.
