I dont think that either version will hit 4 million, although I do think that the sales will be pretty even with a slight edge to the 360
Buy the version you will be able to continue playing in 3 years and a more (ooops, I said it)

That's a good point.
If Sony's financial situation and poor PS3 sales DOES force them to discontinue the console's production, many people may throw away their consoles.

More second hand PS3s available for fire sale prices if PS3 gets discontinued. $100 PS3 sounds good to me. Pick up a lot of PS3 games @$10 to $15 each and see how they compare to XBox 360 versions for myself instead of having to take analysts word for it.

Look at the shadows for the trees on the ps3 version...... they look like N64 graphics.

That's more than a little optimistic...are you aware that the best selling Resident Evil is RE2 with 5.82 million sales? You know, back when the series was popular, on a system with a 105 million install base...
And you think that 7 million copies of Resident Evil 5 will be sold on a console with 28 million userbase? It won't do more than 150k in Japan, you expect it to do 6.85 million in the West? More than GTA4?

The N64 didn't have shadows...
All I can say to Capcom is this:
If the developers that made Shellshock, Killzone and Liberation can make Killzone 2 on the PS3, why can the developers that have made some of the greatest games of all time only make Resident Evil 5 on the PS3?
It's lack of trying. That's all it is. A multiplat can look good on PS3; look at CoD4, Oblivion, DMC4 and many more. You can put equal effort into both consoles. It is possible.
