Japan ok RE5 on PS3 wins that region by default. PS3 install base is 3 million versus .92 million XBox 360.

Europe/Others very close here it could be line ball, narrow victory to PS3 maybe but very close.

North America X360 blows the PS3 out of the water The 9 million extra X360 owners over PS3 should see RE5 on X360 outsell PS3 RE5 by around 2 to 1 in NA region.

Overall RE5 X360 beats RE5 PS3 version by 6 million to 4 million.

That's more than a little optimistic...are you aware that the best selling Resident Evil is RE2 with 5.82 million sales? You know, back when the series was popular, on a system with a 105 million install base...

And you think that 7 million copies of Resident Evil 5 will be sold on a console with 28 million userbase? It won't do more than 150k in Japan, you expect it to do 6.85 million in the West? More than GTA4?
