That's a good point.

If Sony's financial situation and poor PS3 sales DOES force them to discontinue the console's production, many people may throw away their consoles.

 

 

More second hand PS3s available for fire sale prices if PS3 gets discontinued. $100 PS3 sounds good to me. Pick up a lot of PS3 games @$10 to $15 each and see how they compare to XBox 360 versions for myself instead of having to take analysts word for it.
