Forums - Nintendo - There should be more reviews out for MadWorld...

Wait 3 days? Christ I need how much by then? Are wii games 50 or 60? I don't remember. I have not bought one since 2 months after the wii launched.

no clue, but it also has an included multiplayer

edit: looking back at my review where I said that it took upwards of 30 hours to complete with the movies, I'll guess 15 at a minimum.

Really? I think I beat it in about 16 hours, but I wasn't exactly taking a stealthy approach.

I wouldn't worry about Madworld. Only the really hyped games get reviewed weeks before release.

5-6 hours is not the average. Hadn't heard that it had a multiplayer though so if they really do well with that they might be able to get a 9's worthy value anyway.

The only source I've heard the 5-6 hour figure from is IGN: everyone else says 8-10. Perhaps the former just rushed through it? Additionally, the Hard mode is supposed to be a...robust...challenge, so if you're up for challenges I'd imagine you'll spend at least another 8-10 doing that (likely more). Plus you can apparently unlock weapons for your subsequent playthroughs. And there's the multiplayer aspect...

Unless you don't plan on tackling hard mode, using the bonus weapons, or doing the multiplayer, length likely won't be an issue on this one.

Fifty. If you have a Fry's near your place, they usually knock off $5-10 on the first day for major releases. Other retailers might do something similar.

15 hours is good amount of gameplay, but damn 15 hours of movies??

OT: Well No More Heroes took about 10 hours? But a lot of it was driving around to get from place A to place B, looking for balls, digging, & opening dumpsters. If they got rid of that stuff it would have prob been around 6 hours. So maybe Madworld kept the fun stuff & replaced the crap with multiplayer? As long as the single player is nearly as fun as No More Heroes, i'll get the game.

maybe they just didnt send out any review copies

I was being nice to you and assuming a ridiculous amount of cutscenes to prove that even if your point of MGS4 not having a good gameplay to cutscene ratio was true, it was still far more than 5-6 hours.

...

Sadly Nintendo can't afford the same amount of payoff,like the other two so called FPS.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

anyways somebody posted a video on youtube of him beating the game in twenty-seven minutes(mgs4) i saw it on x-play

@rol

More fun than No More Heroes?? Well, i'll have to play it myself & see. No More Heroes is the most fun i had on the Wii by far, & if it's actually more fun, i'll buy 2 copies :p

@torillian

Thank you for being nice to me :)
And like i said, 15 hours is a good amount of gameplay. I think 10+ hours is prob a good amount for a single player game nowadays. I think it took me around 10 hours to beat de Blob as well.
But out of curiosity, how long are MGS4 cutscenes?

Some cut scenes in MGS4 go on past 20 mins. the game is quite awesome though.
