5 CONSOLES THAT CRASHED

Never tried Virtual boy but that thing looks awesome.
I remember playing a game on N-Gage but don't remember which one - didn't like it.
I owned none of these.

What about the Apple Bandai Pippin?

And how can they mention the Saturn without mentioning the DreamCast?

Cause the Dreamcast actually has fans while the Saturn... not so much...

I feel sorry for the Saturn... it really had lots of good games (of which I know thanks to the Satourne). I hope to muster up some cash to get me one.

Oh no love for the Saturn... :( I really loved my saturn, i actually felt it was better than the PSone and the n64, it had better games for me and they were a lot of fun.
I don't think it was the actual console that failed as much as it was SEGA who failed to promote the console and give actual support to the developers outside their internal studios (due to their internal 3D structure being multiple cored and that was hell to program back then, most developers used only the 2D chip).
Also SEGA failed completely at promoting their own games as well, one example of it being the biggest masterpiece that the Saturn library has, Panzer Dragoon Saga, having just released a little over 50000 copies worldwide, completely botching up whatever chances they could have in recouping sales and profits from that game. NIGHTS into Dreams also suffered the same fate.

n-gage sold great for cellphone bad for a console.

but it lives in all nokia smartphones. it's a really nice app, steam for cellphones.

^Yeah it's true, my cellphone is still a N-Gage Q, and it had some good games, but nothing breathtaking. Still, it's fun to play puzzle bobble once in a while =)
