1. KZ2-Best story and MP
2. Gears- decent SP & MP
3. Halo 3- crap SP great MP

And yes, i have played them all. I personaly like 3rd person games better but KZ2 just takes the cake with its level of immersion on the battlefield .

agree. The 3 games are amazing but I wonder which one is the best and why. Personnaly, I think Halo 3 deserve to be the best cause the multi is so hot.

What??? Killzone is FPS and GoW is TPS... how do you compare them???

To say a game is better due to solely its graphics it is not fair. The other game with weaker graphics could have better game play and better online making the game more fun and enjoyable.

 

I agree gears = the best FPS this gen, but Killzone 2 has better online multiplayer. And better graphics. It beats halo3 for FPS anyday. Sorry.

COD 4 (PS3) ~ 4 million sales. Do you people believe Killzone 2 will ever match those sales?
COD 4 has been rated by a lot of game reviewers and many gamers as the best online console shooter of this generation. COD 4 is more than just high sales its is teh online shooter.
COD 4 has higher review averages than the three shooters mentioned in the title.
COD 4 plays equally as good on both PS3 and XBox 360. 360 version of COD 4 has sold around 7 million copies or something. 11 million copies of COD 4 on PS3/X360 combined is great sales.

The three games in thread title by Metacritic rankings review scores: Gears of War 2 and Halo 3 = 93%. Killzone 2 = 91%

Killzone 2 only has 91% review average on Metacritic and is touted as the best shooter (console and PC) of all time by the same PS3 fans who said Killzone 2 review average would never fall below 97% on Metacritic.

Metacritic and Gamerankings are basically the same thing, but Metacritic is better quality IMO and counts more.
