To be expected.

The Halo Wars comercial is just a pre rendered CGI movie that shows nothing about the game. It's hard to tell what kind it is unless you do research.

I bought Monster Hunter thinking it'd be about Hunting Monsters....

Boy was i wrong, the game is more like a mini-MMORPG WoW-clone in the palm of your hand xD

tbh that doesn't surprise me at all. Most people don't take the time to research any of their game purchases. (like I tried to talk one of my friends out of buying UT3 and getting CoD4 instead, but he didn't...)

UT3 is great. Not as good as COD4 but it is still awesome.

Halo you automatically think first person shooter games. So I guess the average person on the street who is not informed on what type of game Halo Wars is will assume it is a FPS and be bitterly disappointed when they discover it is a RTS.

The average person who plays games will not spend much time researching games. If a game has a popular brand name they will buy it on brand name alone.

I personally did not buy Halo Wars because I do not like RTS games. Thank god I researched and found out what type of game Halo Wars was going to be.

im not shocked, but doesnt the back of the case say something like strategy, RTS, something along those lines?
