Online gaming is far more popular in the west than it is in Japan, and with the right promotion it could actually sell some decent numbers in both Europe as in US. The Xbox 360’s J-rpg’s also wouldn’t even reach half of there shipped numbers if they didn’t cut the price after two weeks.

Can't agree with that as a blanket statement. Probably true for Infinite Undiscovery and especially The Last Remnant, but the biggest seller, Lost Odyssey, didn't go into price protection for a long time.

In Mediamarkt (spain) you can now buy Lost Oddysey for 10 Euros, and they did cut the price of that title last summer. I can’t talk about US, but LO did get here much more promotion than most PS2 RPG’s did get here other than the three FF title’s and DQVIII.

"Xbox 360 jRPG wouldnt if ..."

Thinking that, is still better hoping that something fails.

farmland - vgc is way off on tlr you say its 500k but its at 600k. they shipped less than 500k before jan. 150k on shelves is more than reasonable considering its a new game, its the holidays, and the price were slashed right away so they couldnt of been selling the 490k shipped well. br />
if they couldnt sell 340k - 390k during the holidays and launch what makes you think 210k - 260k was sold after?

Oh shit.... I forgot that SO4 was in this weeks sales chart. I only checked the one at the right and quickly left a comment.

Damn.. 60k!? Pathetic.... This desserves more... Got my copy just now together with KZ2.

That's why timed exclusives should burn in hell. Only a couple of games have done well in timed exclusivity.

Haven't tried SO4 yet. I hope it has JP audio.
