Starfox, Donkey Kong, Kirby & F-Zero have yet to have proper games on Wii. Pikmin 3 is heavily rumored and could be a title and Pilot Wings/Wave Race have yet to make appearances on Wii, ditto Kid Icarus or another Luigi game. So plenty of options for Nintendo. I'm still hoping for Super Mario Galaxy 2 myself.

@vonboy: I don't think so, look at what's going on with the Wii in Japan. Nintendo expected what you say to work out, but now that it's not working, how are they gonna regain the momentum they lost? Wii saw it's lowest weeks ever during the past few weeks there and PS3 and 360 were able to outsell it.

For the month of February PS3 sold more HW than the Wii. And YTD PS3 is closing in SW, just RE5 and Musou Orochi Z will be enough for the PS3 to outsell Wii's YTD SW and HW totals.
Nintendo needs to step it up there, there's no longer a vcation time. Wii Music and AC:CF failed to do what you are implying. I honestly don't know how it's going to end there.

Can't keep on relying on 1 game only, because if that game fails your console fails and loses all the momentum it had.

i can't wait to get my hands on Wii Sports Two. I have been waiting for that game for the loooongest time. does anyone know when it is getting released?

The key to this is who would develop the game and the reasonability of them completing a game this year based on when their previous game was released:

EAD 1: Probably won't come from this group, they just released MK last year.

EAD 2: Releasing Wii Sports Resort- probably also working on something else. Maybe Starfox as Katsuya Eguchi directed the SNES original and the DS game. Whatever it is, probably won't be ready this year.

EAD 3: We know they are working on Zelda- will it be ready by the end of the year?

EAD 4: Probably making New SMB 2 for DS and Pikmin 3. Not sure Pikmin 3 will be released this year given Nintendo is releasing 2 Pikmin game this year (Wiimakes)- they may want to wait to next year to avoid overkill

EAD Tokyo: Last game was 2 years ago (Mario Galaxy) so we should be seeing something from them. Given what Takao Shimizu has worked on in the past, it could be DK or a Galaxy follow-up.

Retro: As EAD Tokyo, last game was 2 years ago- we should see their new game this year

HAL: Kirby's Adventure

Sora: 2011 at earliest

Monolithsoft: Probably Soma Bringer 2 DS and an RPG Wii- probably not this year though as their last DS and Wii games were just released last year.

Gamefreak: Just released Pokemon Plat

Genius Sonority: Last worked on DQ: Swords. Their website featured some art for what appeared to be a new IP- doubt it will be released this year

BrownieBrown: Recently said they were interested in Wii development so whatever it is it is still early (if started at all)- maybe an action/rpg

AlphaDream: M&L 3

SPD1: Made in Me and Wario Ware for DSi

SPD2: Maybe working on Sin & Punishment 2 as Hitoshi Yamagami worked on the original w/ Treasure.  Dr. Mario DSi?

SPD3: Usually works with 3rd parties on Nintendo IPs so probably Punch-Out (Next Level Games), Excitebots (Monster Games), and maybe Golden Sun for 2010 (Camelot).

Intelligent Systems: Working with SPD1 on Wario Ware and Made in Me DSi. Could also be working on Advance Wars DSi and Fire Emblem Wii.

NST: Who knows whats going on with them- maybe 1080 since Masamichi Abe worked on the series in the past- could be 2009 title

Factor 5: Kid Icarus? Who knows- they are supposedly working on something from Nintendo that was supposed to release last year but financial troubles set them back.
