You know what's interesting? Everybody is claiming how "God Killzone 2" is a system seller BUT the difference this week is comming from Japan.

Yakuza 3 is a bigger system seller than Killzone 2.

WW is going to be pretty much a dead heat. Looks like PS3 wins by a few thousand or so.

 

Should be something like 10-8k. Maybe more. Not a  lot, but great neverthless.

 

According to the Japan preview, PS3 got 22k-30k and 360 got 9k to 17k. So taking the median numbers and considering that the 360 is up by 11k sans Japan, it's probably less than that... PS3 by 2,000ish, maybe.

This is the closest PS3 sales have been to the 360 in NA since last August!

And  in Other's there was 100K (very small jump)

And Japan had 78K (Huge jump)

For that week it went from 150K to 335K lol

It's not a Halo FPS, and didnt have the advertisement of a Halo 3 type game.  Also 360 is currently 10,000 ahead of PS3 between NA & EU, and with Star Ocean 4, I think 360 will again beat PS3 in Japan this week.  Sorry, but Killzone 2 is not god on a disc like PS3 fanboys think it is.

 

Star Ocean boost was last weeks numbers, and NA Halo Wars boost (if there is one) won't be til next weeks numbers.

I'm still guessing X360 will edge out PS3 in hardware sales this week. Remember, Japanese 360 are still elevated above 'normal' levels right now. I don't think Yakuza 3 can bridge the gap.

Killzone 2 is a really gorgeous looking game btw! Although It takes getting used to the power of the hellghast on the highest dificulty, their AI and the aiming. It's a really different experience then CoD4, where everything is more 'static' as in accurate etc... Less recoil, you have to shoot less longer to kill etc...

But still, Killzone 2 did what it had to do!

And Wii seems awkwardly low too ww btw! Maybe it's finally slowing down a bit. And since no AAA Wii-game game has come out for like half a year it's about damned time ...

God, I look forward to seeing how Killzone 2 performed in the US!!! Can't betoo long now!
