But the fact is none of these games coming to the Wii will look anywhere near as good as FFXIII or Versus XIII nor do they carry the same brand recognition in the West, so I don't see jrpg fans flocking to the Wii for these types of games.

My return key is not broken. I am having to use my PS3 to access the internet because my laptop's ac adapter burnt out. I am supposed to be getting a new cord this week though. My PS3 makes internet videos look and sound much better than does my laptop when it is connected to my lcd tv. And you can't surf the net with a 360 as far as I know. Still having to input keys this way is a bit tedious.

I doubt they'll sell 50 million, but they will be there with their shipments. Right now is the first time in ~2.5 years that there are actually Wii's on the shelves that don't dissappear in a matter of minutes at the Wal-Marts/FutureShop's around my neck of the woods (and there's more than 5 systems there). Now if only I could say the same for Wii Fit....I STILL have yet to see one in stock anywhere.

Not entirely no, I made my predictions in January. About 48.50 Million Wii's and 101.00 million DS by 20th March. Wii should pass 50 million by mid April and DS should pass the 102 million mark. Mind you the sales could regulary soar when wii sports resort and the DSi are launched.

They actually have everything but Mario Kart Wii in stock near me. All the gamestops have giant signs saying "Wii Fit In Stock".

 




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

It's the same around here for Wii Fit. Last time I was at a EB Games buying Tenchu a guy and his girlfriend came in the store and before they even asked anything the employee said "We don't have any Wii Fits or Mario Kart Wii"
