Nice one, IGN. Their Sonic scores just keep getting lower and lower regardless of quality.

Let's see if they can hit the 2.0's with the next game.

Sega is doing a lot of Sonic games. Look Mario. Only one (plataform) game in the Wii library.

I agree that nostalgia is an issue with any and all franchises.

However, I think most of the problems lied with the bad motion controls. From the review at least. I haven't played it.

The ratings had me going for a minute. I mean starting with presentation and going downwards to lasting appeal seemed like a countdown to failure.

8.5--->8.5--->7.5---->3.0--->3.0---->FAIL

The reviews seem to complain simply about having to use motion controls, not whether they are reliable or responsive.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
