I started by saying that this was only based on the reviews I have read, but it seemed like it was a good RTS for a console. However, it was also simplified compared to the PC RTS games. |
Oh, I would've just said "Because it's a console RTS. Sure, it may be a "good/great" console RTS, amongst the others, but it's still a console RTS and barely anybody buys those. Chances are, most people are only buying it because the word "Halo" is in the name. Command and Conquer was "good", Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution got an 85 on Metacritic, etc. etc., but those sold miserably. However, since this has "Halo" in it, it's going to sell billions" in a thread like that.
If those are the terms of being critical of the game, then that should be completely legit. In terms of gameplay, if you own the game, and experience it, then being critical in that sense is also legit. But if you've never touched the game and say "Oh it's crap" then no, that shouldn't be allowed
