I would expect that KZ2 does have better graphics.  It also has bots, and an RPG-like multiplayer mode.

There are a few things in this article which do not seem to follow, but some have already mentioned most of it. Since I have yet to play Killzone 2, I can only give it the edge over Halo in graphics. Halo, however, has co-op play where as Killzone 2 lacks this feature. This gives me little interest in picking up Killzone 2. Maybe once it hits the bargin bins.
