I paid full price for 07 when it came out, and ended up playing it for about 3 and 1/2 hours. It is the only game I have purchased that I haven't really gotten my money's worth out of it. It's sounding like I was wise to avoid '08, and I really have not plans for '09 either unless the reviews wow me.

No, we are the developer - EA are just the publisher (i.e. EA over in the US).
I really, really can't say much. If news got out of this, it might just be front page news for many games/business sites. Its not officially announced yet in any form.
I will say that I believe it is due for release before the end of this year - and that its not a console title. I will probably talk about it (a little) here once it does get released.
