No, we are the developer - EA are just the publisher (i.e. EA over in the US).

I really, really can't say much. If news got out of this, it might just be front page news for many games/business sites. Its not officially announced yet in any form.

I will say that I believe it is due for release before the end of this year - and that its not a console title. I will probably talk about it (a little) here once it does get released.
