Forums - Nintendo - What is the upcoming Zelda was horrible?

It is simply impossible and I will not entertain these trollish thoughts any longer! Good day, sir!

if it were horrible... it just would not release and the project would be restarted from scratch.

^^Aww...poor Yoshi looks so sad in that picture.

OT: What if the next Mario...was a FPS? The answer to both questions: not likely!

At one point (2002), the next Metroid was an FPS and it turned out to be one of the best games ever.

No matter what, I still trust Nintendo.

I'd cut off my right arm with my left arm. Then I'd hold my right arm in my mouth and use it to cut off my left arm. My gaming days would be done.

I'd kill myself. No emo. But seriously, it won't, unless the next *zelda* is a minigame collection like the TP bow thing. That sucked.

You know there'll be a mountain of "Zelda [insert name] sucks" threads popping up when the game is released.

No doubt some people will think it's a bad game - but I can't really imagine it. I guess they could make all the characters have mii heads and then lower the difficulty so that the hardest puzzle involves turning left AND right in the same temple. Hopefully not.

no you have a better chance of Atari release a good game

Last time i checked Zelda was not the only franchise in gaming.

But yea,not gonna happen.

I seriously doubt Miyamoto would let that happen.

Much of the rumours and speculation have lead me to believe that the next zelda is going to be quite far removed from the others in the series, and rightly so too. Every Zelda has had a twist or a feature that has made it individual.

Majora's mask - Time travel
Link to the past - different dimensions
Zelda 2 - Side scrolling.
Ocarina of time - 3D, which was big at the time

and so on...

I reckon Eiji Ounuma will easily think of a great twist, if not it will still sell well.
