Fuck please. The playstation controller is the most akward and unconfortable thing in the world. Gamecube controller was good and the 360 controller is awsome but the playstation controller is just fucking weird.

Do you also forget the Wii has a PS2-like controller for it?   A Wii Play like bundle would be a very great business move.

Aside from that if you think motion controls are too limited for DMC series then I honestly feel for your lack of imagination.

Again, I prefer a new IP overall.  I merely used DMC as an example of an alternative to a new IP as in bringing over another established franchise.

I was pretty sure Mikami was the one who re-engineered RE4 from being the same tired RE games we all knew and grew bored of, to the seminal genre defining game it became. If it weren't for him, over the shoulder wouldn't have happened. Heck, Gears of War would be FPS. Well, I guess it's not that big a difference, but he did good, not bad.

Oh, and he wasn't fired, he quit (sort of) out of anger at the executives stabbing his reputation and Nintendo in the back.

And I suppose a you can have a personal preference of Sixaxis Vs GC controller; that's your ergonomic opinion. Unless you want rumble. Then an N64 control with a rumble pack currently shits over Sixaxis.

  Dude read my posts, I don't make fanboy comments. Hell I try to be fair to all console and their owners but what I'm saying is from personal experience. The playstation controller dosen't conform to the hand at all and when I play resistance Its akward for me to aim and move. I also don't like using the shoulder buttons to fire. I'll admit that playstation controller is the best for fighting games and it has neat features like pressure sensitive buttons but the gamecube controller just fits well in your hands and It plays well. RE4 with the gamecube controller was awesome.  The only complain with the gamecube controller is that the d-pad sucks and the c-stick needs better girp. I think we can all agree that 360 is the best traditional controller. I

  I know a whole generation of gamers grew up using the playstation controller but the placement of the dual analog is just akward for me. I made my points and you can disagree with me, thats fine but the gamecube controller is far from shit. Man there are so many other controllers that suck like the fucking jaguar controller. Now that was shit.

bugmenot, Mikami is like a baby Miyamoto. The guy is a genius. He made Devil May Cry, Worked on Okami, Viewtiful Joe, the original RE and like you said revolutionized action games with RE4.
