i would much rather an RE game built from the ground up for wii with its capabilities and unique features in mind.

maybe even and RE2 remake or a side story to RE5. But okami 2.....THAT is what capcom needs to put exclusively on the wii (hey shutup i can dream)

Capcom should remake resident evil 2 using the 4 engine and make it exclusivey for the wii. My money would be that it would be better than 5 because of the superior controls.

If enough people want it to happen, typically it will, simple as that. Stranger things have happened this generation. Again, I wonder how many of the nay-sayers also said the Wii could never be the top console of this gen.

Well now that I think about it, Capcom is notorious for screwing up sequels, but I have faith this will be at least a good game if not a great one. Pity Chriss is the main character, that's really a dissapointment, always thought he was lame. Would it kill them to explore someone else every now and again, Hunk, Either of the fellows from the Resident Evil Survivor or RE Dead Aim? Also, on a side note, if in this generation a series like Dragon Quest can go from DQ8 on the PS2 to DQ9 on the DS, Resident Evil can go from RE5 on 360/PS3 to RE6 on Wii. This is the generation where the impossible is possible. The only reason this game wasn't initially developed for the Wii to begin with was the fact that they thought the Wii would be a so-so product.

 I couldn't agree more. the best way to get a product is to vote with your wallet. If you want capcom to make Wii games, buy the games they release for the Wii. If you want Resident Evil games on the Wii, buy Re4 and Umbrella chronicles.  That said, I wouldn't mind buying a 360 when Re5 comes out. If the upcoming 360 rpg lineup is good that is a decent reason for me to buy. Add in Re5, and a few other multi-platform games that I am interested in  and I can justify the price. The only Ps3 game that I really want to play is FFXIII.  I would much rather play RE5 without having its' AI dumbed down. I don't care about the difference in graphics, but  I don't want cheapened villians. I want my zombie horde to be smart enough to scare me with how clever they are.

 

The best way to persuade Capcom to bring more Resis to Wii is to buy their games.

I wonder if people think UC will be a so-so game because they don't think it has appeal or just don't want there to be any reason for a RE5 Wii port.
