I love Mario, Zelda, and Metroid but I will go with Mario for two reasons.

1) He's been around the longest.

2) He's Italian.

It's very tough, it's so close between Mario,Zelda,Metroid and SSB.
Although SSBB is my favorite game, I would have to say i like the LoZ series more.
