Just for comparison, previous 2 Dynasty Warriors games on PSP, Orochi and Orochi 2, sold 50,000 and 40,000 copies first week respectively. And they both went to sell more than 150,000 copies.
Well, Dynasty Warriors Multi Raid sold more than 150,000 on day one. If it shows the same legs as the previous DW games on PSP, its LTD is going to be huge.
Great numbers for Sony.
Halo Wars didn't do very well.

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

Wow Yakuza did a great job. I guess this was the game the PS3 needed! Should put it over wii in sales for the week
It seems KOEI's first attempt of making a Monster Hunter-like Dynasty Warriors game pays off.
Any substantial (and good) changes for Dynasty Warriors is welcome. Good job, KOEI!

Yeah, according to most reports the game is surprisingly good and different. I wonder if superb sales might affect the future development of console DW games, especially considering Omega Force developed this one.

oh, trust me, we will see the console version. it's KOEI
just take a look at the history of Warriors Orochi
Warrior Orochi (PS2, X360, PSP, PC)
Warrior Corchi 2 (PS2, X360, PSP)
in March, KOEI will release the collection of Orochi 1 and 2 (Orochi Z) on PS3....

I didn't mean we won't see console DW games, I just meant they might put their focus on PSP in the future, especially if this one sells more than 500,000 copies, which is likely.
