What would everyone recommend to someone who wants to try an RPG and only has a playstation 2?

The game database says "Final Fantasy X" sold the most so should I try that?

It's a great game, and I think it would probably be fairly accessible. So, yes, try FFX!

First RPG? Dragon quest VIII or Final fantasy X. The easiest is DQVIII but my favourite is FFX.

With the PS2 you have SOOOOO many choices.

Final Fantasy X wouldn't be a bad choice. I'd also go with Tales of the Abyss.

Both are solid choices.

Maybe not the most accessible but epic in story, and fun, engaging gameplay.

If you're into the idea, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are pretty cool games.

KH are not real RPG's IMO...

Persona 3 FES, then Persona 4

Final Fantasy X, NO.. The water polo part will make you want to shoot yourself. If you want to shoot yourself, do it in Persona 3. ~_n

yeah u should get kingdom hearts 1&2 but they r not turnbased

Why? You level up and gain new skills and whatnot.
