I haven't looked much into this series. Are the features missing from the last one here?

Allegedly they put back master league & traditional controls to allow for co-op gaming.

And apparently they added a co-op mode where one person uses motion controls & the other uses traditional (not sure how many players total can play this way though). And they claimed to have added some wii only modes such as a mii training camp or something. Furthermore, they supposedly updated the graphics.

U did a good job not wasting money on the previous one, was more barebones than the ps2 version. They took one step forward w motion controls and countless steps backwards. Konami ftw!

It's looking way better than 2008, with added features + better co-op, which is always great!!! But I still don't understand why they release it last on Wii and PAL. Another bonus, the cover has a better player this year.

Why Pal last u ask? I think it's cause they want the Wii to fail. They even came out with the ps2 & psp version in Feb in Japan. They couldn't at least release the Wii version at the same time as those ones??

And thank god about the cover, cronaldo is my 2nd most hated player after becks.

So why release it if you want it to fail? The Japanese version came out yesterday according to the release dates here.

i love the look of this, i loved pes08 on the wii and so far this looks like a much better offering.

it looks like it has more depth to the gameplay options and also you have more control of how you shoot with the players.

Isn't the gap between PS360 versions and Wii version even longer than between PES 08?

perhaps in 2011 they will be releasing PES '11 for Wii at the same time a they release PES '12 for PS360?

Yeah i didnt get PES 2008, but this i'll definitely be buying! Like all of you said, this seems to have more depth than the last offering.
