I think this requires another test. Can somebody with an XBox Live account change their profile to say "I have sworn off sex for life" or "I am a born again virgin" or something like that? Those comments are as sexual as "I am a lesbian" or "I have male human genitals, known as a penis.

Even better would be : "My wife and I are trying to have a child" it suggest sex just as much as "I am a lesbian"

@madkiller, people are really warming up to the idea of gay marriage.  Polls show that the only reliable criteria for determining who supports or opposes gay marriage is age.  Older people are more likely to oppose it and younger people are more likely to support it.  With that in mind, every year the polling numbers show that less people are opposed and more people support it.  So it's just a matter of time.  It was just legalized in Connecticut last year (home of George W. Bush).  I give it 25 years max to be legalized nationwide.

Should have never been illegalized to begin with.

Seriously, I wonder why things like these bother people. It is not affecting them directly.

Should never have been legalized according to our founding fathers.  I myself could care less.  If you wanna be gay, go right ahead.  In fact, Will & Grace is like one of my favority shows

But since this nation was founded "under God" with basic Christian beliefs, then according to our founding fathers gay marriage would never be something to be legalized.  Just saying.

I am an Athiest so honestly I could care less for these beliefs.

I always believed in what I felt in my heart of hearts, and in this case it tells me this isn't right.

Not to mention our same beliefs state "All men are created equal", yet we do not treat them as such.

yeah...then they became gay ...then they were treated less than equal.

The reason why people are against it is because they believe that it is immoral, hence sexual immorality, kind of in the same line as pedophilia, bestiality, necrophilia etc. It may not have anything to do with them, but if they believe that it's wrong then they have their God-given, and Constitutional right to be able to speak against it.

With that said I think people should be mature enough to not parade controversial topics about sexuality within a Corporate Business such as Microsoft. The girl was seriously asking for it.

Microsoft is crazy! Nintendo would never say something like this!

Nintendo still doomed?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to take this comment.

You are saying it is fine they are treated like that or you think it is wrong?

Just as it is their right to speak against it, it is her right to speak for it.

As I said, "All men are created equal". That is what I thought my country stood for.

She wasn't asking for it. Being a lesbian isn't asking for trouble.

Must I remind everyone that she was not banned for speaking out on her sexuality?  She was banned for simply using the word that they deem innapropriate.  She was not being discriminated against.

You like to believe your country stands for all men being created equal, but not that our nation was founded under God?  I didn't realize that you could pick and choose which things our nation really stood for and which applied to certain situations.

I find it funny that Euphoria14 prays, yet he proclaims he is atheist.  Also, humans are imperfect, and there will never be a day where every human is accepting of every other human.  You cannot possibly say that you have never looked down on an individual... we all have at some point.  Sure we may have realized it later and corrected ourselves, but it still happens.

After reading some of the later posts, I just want to say that treating men and women less than men and women is just plain wrong. All people are people and that should validate equality just as much as whatever religious, political, or philosophical belief you have.

When people condemn homosexuality in any case, they aren't condemning the person as much as they are condemning the act, the thought, the overall concept of it, and the concept about it. Personally I can only see homosexuality as 'immoral' degrading to the integrity of humanity that I have. But sin only makes us more equal to each other, I've found.

There's nothing an anti-homosexuality person can do but to be run over by the false cries of "inequality" and "love" spewed out of the mouth of those who support homosexuality. All those anti-homosexuality people should understand what the Christ understood, and the concept that has been relayed throughout the scriptures and the gospels, that the world will only get worse, sending itself into destruction. Nothing else really matters, just what you do.

Just as it is their right to speak against it, it is her right to speak for it.

As I said, "All men are created equal". That is what I thought my country stood for.

Yeah, she has the right to choose whatever she wants to do, I'm not arguing with you. But she did ask for it. Whenever a person says something (in a public forum or place) they should be concious that what they say can and will be contended by those who disagree, and what they say can and will be supported by people who agree. If she doesn't understand this that means she isn't mature enough to be let alone into a public place at all.

Living life the way you want is always going to be going against living life the way other people want, unless you find common ground against them. If i make a post saying Homosexuality is Sin I will most surely be banned. If being christian is asking for trouble, how is it that being something else, like a lesbian not asking for trouble?

i wasnt actually putting forward a position on the matter.   just to the fact that someone being born equal doesnt mean they will always be equals.

It was no longer her right once she agreed to the ToS.
