Even if you could un-install IE, you still can get on the internet, by using a windows explorer. Just open up My Computer and there is an address bar that you can type a web address into and get to the WWW.

OT: It would have been nice to have a choice as to which browser I could have when I ordered my PC. But I know how to download a new browser, the average PC user might not. Now, with that said, the average PC user would probably still pick IE, but giving them a choic is what matters.

i think that this lawsuit is completely useless,internet explorer is awwesome copmared to some of the other choices.and they have already lost a case like it in the us if i remember correctly.

and apple safari is complete crap on a pc i should know i use all the web browsers.chrome,firefox,internet explorer,opera,and safari.and ie is one of the best

Your opinion maybe, I think Chrome wipes the floor with IE, and I'll never use IE again. Unless I get a new PC, and only so I can download Chrome again.

i like chrome till i figured out that all of a sudden it would stop loading the page all of a sudden(but u got u remember that i dont have broadband)

wow google is desperate if they can make some real changes and show that their browser is much better to the normal people then people will download it. If not then they deserve to fail. M$ has a very simple browser to use and has yet to be beaten in terms of usefulness to the standard user.

no broadband could be a big issue, but then I'm surprised that Firefox doesnt work better for you. I always heard Firefox runs leaner than IE, and why it helps with slower connection speeds

firefox is awesome as well but i think that ie has some stuff over it and firefox has some stuff over ie
