Forums - Website Topics - Should Brett Charge A One Time $5 Fee To Post In Forums??

gebx said:

Notes
- This fee would be for posting in forums and having access to the more detailed weekly data
- Non members can read forums and front page data
- One time only when creating an account

Here are the reasons why I think Brett should

- Less trolling due to fear of perma ban and having to pay $5 for new account
- More people in the forums talking about SALES
- Less alt accounts & spammers
- Eliminates most of the under 18 crowd

Please add any reasons why you think Vgchartz should have a one time fee or if it shouldn't!

1. Most of the trolls I've witnessed are ages 21-26. The younger guys aren't too bad most of the time. Its the "know-it-all" college kids causing the problem.

2. Want to clear out the trash/spam etc? Stricter modding rules, 3  bans=permaban

3. Pay accounts aren't going to make the topics in the forums any more intelligent or on-topic

Hmmm not really an attractive idea at the moment...

For god's sake Brett DON'T DO IT EVER.  Really, charging people would turn alot of people off. This website would probaly die if you started charging people. I implore you to never ever charge for this site.
