These numbers are really good third best selling 360 game in Japan after only four days. Should be number two next week and the best selling 360 game in Japan in a couple of month.

these boosts will continue if microsoft keeps nabbing exclusive rpg`s sony needs to learn from this quick, or they will fall behind in japan.

I doubt that'll ever happen. It's like ps3 catching up to 360 in America. Little 10-20K boosts here and there are not going to usurp a triple sales lead.

I just brought the game home and I am an hour in and am hating Welch's voice/demeanor. And the graphics are nothing above par.

wow those are insane sales. well done microsoft and S-E. The attach rate for this game is over 2.0 in japan, thats incredible. Though its a success for them, and it moved over 20k consoles in a week, it failed to exceed the sales of the previous game in the series. But honestly, did anyone expect SO to sell more than 400k with an install base of less than 1 mil in Japan?
