i never talk about god of war. still i always use gow to describe gears of war. i personally do not care for god of war and love gears of war. god of war isn't a bad game by any means but i don't like it. still i think generally depending on the subject, people can tell which one is being talked about when gow is used.

it is sad how people refuse to see the facts sometimes...Gears of War is better than god of war, plain and simple.

94/93 Metacritic scores for both franchises respectively.  Concluding that either one is better than the other is nothing more than pointless, worthless conjecture.  Sales have little to do with 'quality' of a game.
