heyy thats cool. I guess that means this is a very highly hyped game not just on VG.

And as we can see from the list posted by Munkeh111, trailer views on GT are no indication of actual sales.

I was being serious...but it'll probably work. I've been on the shit list lately. Either way, it will be an unfortunate, but necessary ban, if it comes. I stand by my true, yet unpopular words, as always.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.

Yes, but it is a good show of the hardcore popularity... but of course MGS 4 at top has not even cracked 4m sales, when some of the games closer to the bottom have beaten that

Actually, upon rethinking this, I feel my probable ban for this report will be unjust. The topic itself is about the popularity of Killzone 2, and I commented on how I believe innovation should be reqarded with popularity, and standard upgrades to age old genres should not. I just did it in a way that pissed you off.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
I had a hunch MGS4 media would be the most downloaded. MGS4 trailers are basically short movies.

Quiet a popular site has GT become, I have to say. Millions of views (although of course people watch the same trailer several times) is .. impressive.
Also shows how just a few people bother to register on the site. My theory that hardcore gamers and internet hype dont mean anything grows stronger.
| ZenfoldorVGI said: Congratulations Killzone 2. The one game we really needed, as an industry, was an online shooter with the key innovation of "better graphics." Groundbreaking, really. The next "flying car" for the industry shall, I predict, be a golf game with more courses. Edit: To clarify, I'm commenting here on the unfortunate circumstance of games like LBP, which though innovative, travel through the industry unnoticed, while games like Killzone 2, which bring a relatively weak single player campaign accompanied with very predictable improvements in graphical technology, turn the industry on its head, with their popularity(of which gametrailers is no real indication). Sure, it's beating a dead horse, but it was my choice to do so in this case, and thus I've explained my statements, and how they relate to this topic, which proclaims the popularity of this game. That is all. |
LBP has sold more than 1.5 million. Since when did selling "platinum" status indicate traveling through the industry unnoticed?

MSI GT725-074 owner..... TRUE BEAST.. COD4 is a different game on PC.
@ Zenfolder )
yea with "only" 12 million media views at GT LBP absolutely traveled through the industry unnoticed, I can totally follow your argumentation ... really
Oh, and LBPs 8 awards at DICE was a great show of how it was unnoticed
And who said KZ 2's SP was weak, have you played it all?
