India is a place that could eventually be quite a large market. I mean one only needs to look at their huge film industry to know this is true.

Someone really should make a serious cricket sim on Wii with M+ and balance board support. The Wii could be perfect for cricket games.
@Kantor
In South asia, (hell in asia in general) people play games on PC because they don't have to pay ridiculously high amounts of money for game due to piracy.
For example, in my country, a PS3 game is sold at about 120 dollars while a PC game is sold for around 1 dollar.120 dollars is more than the amount of money most people earn for a month!
Sucks to be living in a third world country. However, my parents are relatively rich than most people.
Another reason why gaming consoles don't sell in south asia is because it isn't socially accepted. People do not want their kids to waste money on something they believe to be a waste of time and money.
They treat gamers as if they are retarded people and you get laughed at and called stupid.

I got my PS2 chipped in India.
Region locking sucks.
But seriously.
1 billion people. Perhaps 80 million able to afford a console. I would think at least a million.
Most people import their consoles because it take years for them to be officially released.
From what I understand, India's economy is pretty poor so these figures don't surprise me much.
