Let's say I only can afford 3 and only 3 games. I like the adventure/fantasy games and racing games. In second place, I like fighting games and shooters, specially third person shooters. As you can see, I would have to sacrifice something to start.

What would be my best starter 3 games only combo?

Based on what you said, I would recommend:

Fable 2
Gears of War 2
Forza Motorsport 2 (assuming you mean simulation racing). If you mean arcade racing, then Burnout Paradise.

Funny how nobody mentions GTA IV. (Maybe it is truelly overrated).

Since Mass effect is beating Fable 2, and both are RPG (right?), what about Oblivion?

PS: And yes I prefer, simulation racing over arcade racing
