It's only February. Wait until the summer i.e E3.

Don't Worry.....Be Happy

I started on this site to see if Nintendo's gambit with the Wii would pay off (and did it ever!) and fell in love the with community. However it does seem to be slowing down and my own interest is waning... why?

It's over - Nintendo has won this generation there's no disputing it anymore.

Everyone lost - Because of lack of guts and imagination on 3rd party publishers the Wii is simply not living up to what we all hoped it would when it first came out. Motion hasn't been used to create more immersion into the franchises we love nor are we seeing much innovation. Even 80-90% of Nintendo's own games fail to use it in any innovative way.
PS3 is a failure (profit-wise) and an utter disappointment (sales-wise) to the fanboys. It's stuck in last with little and fading hope of ever getting out of last. And this site is depressing when sales come out or Sony financial statements.
360 is well - what? Coming in a distant 2nd place finish... again. Nor does it have much compelling software coming out this year. Solid games yes but nothing to get super hyped about. Wheee....
DS is getting tired
PS2 and PSP - Dead and dying.

And so much debate is muted or finished and arguing over if yet game (KZ2) will revive PS3 sales is well... pointless (it won't)

I'm always in the shadows. I don't post except something excites me though

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

@Soriku: yeah and there's so much bashing about this site on other forums, that's crazy, sometimes, you're not even allowed to write "vgchartz" or you get banned ...

Yeah and for some reason my Star Ocean scan got posted all over the place.

VGChartz♥♥♥♥♥FOREVER

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Im here. Im loved.

well, i've been spending time with my family alot more now, i also recently got valkyria chronicles recently and SO4 is next. with that aside i've been dealing with a virus and 4+ vists to 2 maybe 3 diffrent hospitals. so thats my story for my recent in-activety. :1

Well, since the Killzone 2 threads (from hype to trolling, and everything in between) somewhat fizzled out last week, things have been relatively quiet.

Still, the usual folks are here, which is nice. Sure, some older posters have left or are contributing to the site less and less, but newer posters are stepping up and keeping the community informative and interesting. And I can't wait to see what VGChartz 2.0 has to offer.

And it's great to see some great games already out this year like Overkill and Street Fighter IV, with other goodies on the horizon (Killzone 2 and MadWorld to name a few). So while VGChartz isn't exactly booming right now, the world keeps on spinning, the games keep on coming, and the posters keep on posting.

LOL

Just saying - unlike last gen when PS2 owners could beat their chest about having the best selling system with the biggest and best collection of games, this generation hasn't provided for much to brag about to anyone.
