I wrote an entire review on Boom Blox. It's called Boom Blox: The Unofficial Review. Dig it up. That sums up my opinions on that game.

I wont derail the thread any more. LOL

Get Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn , it is the my favourite game this generation, very challenging and epic

Also definately get Super Mario Galaxy it is simply a masterpiece

I'd just like to suggest passing on animal crossing city folk. I got that game, and was extremely dissapointed. Apparently it is identical to the old ones.

It was just really bland, and boring compared to other wii games. Here's a list of games I'd say are awesome:

Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros Brawl
House of The Dead Overkill
Deadly Creatures
De Blob
Lost winds (wiiware)
Guitar hero 3, and World Tour
Call of Duty World at War
Boom Blox

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

I'd buy/rent the following:

Mario Kart
Boom Blox (local multiplayer is very fun. it's definately worth a purchase.)
De Blob (probably rent)
Super Mario Galaxy
No More Heroes

some games to keep your eye on:

Madworld

Let's Tap

Little King's Story

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

You have to get

Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Kart Wii
Super Smash Bros Brawl
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Metroid Prime 3 Corruption

Those above are the main ones. In the second place, if you want more:

No More Heroes
Zack & Wicky
Resident Evil 4
Call of Duty: World at War
House of the Dead: Overkill

And if you are still interested in more:

Tenchu 4
Deadly Creatures
Medal of Honor 2
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Okami

Despite all those games, you should reserve some money to buy MadWorld next month and The Conduit in June.
Fata Frame 4 is also coming in the following months.
Another horror survivor is Cursed Mountain that will arrive soon.
And there is Little king Story next month is you like this type of games.

Thanks for the reply, I'm glad you mentioned resident evil 4, I forgot about that.

I played through in on the ps2 version but always envied the wii owners for having what every game magazine labled as the superior version in their reviews.  It's it worth buying and playing through again on the wii?  It does support the gun controller for the wii right ( I think that's what was superior about it).

Also, resident evil umbrella chronicles, any good?

Resident Evil 4 uses A and B to aim and shoot, so gun shells usually aren't practical except for some of the odd shotgun ones that don't hinder button use. But that's not what makes it "superior", using the IR cursor to aim makes for much easier shooting. On the Gamecube I mostly stuck to Shotguns and the Sniper Rifle, breaking out the Magnum in the late game. In the Wii version I just kept maxing out the Red 9 pistol, and was saddened anytime I didn't have handgun ammo. I even beat Salazar with just the Red 9 with minimal effort. I also cakewalked through the Merchant's shooting gallery and Mercenary mode on the Wii version. Espeically with Hunk. Shoot, Neck Snap, Shoot, Neck Snap, Shoot, Neck Snap, Shoot Neck Snap.

Umbrella Chronicles is very well made rail shooter with some good Resident Evil Fanservice, and for people who care about the storyline, ties up some loose ends in the series. If you like both Rail Shooters and Resident Evil, it's a good buy, if you like one or the other, probably a rental.
