This is a joke post right? You think Killzone is that holy that all the agenda's are built around it? haha I was gonna put a list of games that have been announced and released in the months of february and march over the past years but I changed my mind after I realized I was giving you the light of day.

The guy is someone you create nothing more, its like the nameless guy from the pokemon games you dont see nintendo killing him/her off every game. |
It is a little bit different when the main character in questions didn't have predetermined plot points. What, was Bioware just suppose to geuss what you WOULD have said in the first game and just paste it into the second? They could possibly allow you to make some sort of answer check off list of some things you might have chosen from the first one, but that is tedious and would give away certain plot points of the first game(they do still want you to buy it).
I am not saying that the Main Character from ME will be dead for sure, but I don't think you will play with the same theoretical character if you don't have the ME save file. Bioware is known for trying to make seamless gameplay. Forcing a new player to have a set back history that they didn't choose or experience is not really their style.

They've talked a bit about how they're doing it. Basically, they are going to try and make it so that whatever decisions you made in the first game will be reflected in the sequel. You can read it here, but the money line is:
"Now obviously that has painted us into a difficult position, because we have multiple threads, multiple endings ... certain characters may or not be alive. It's created extra work for us but we felt it was necessary to really capture what we were going for in Mass Effect. The short answer of how we're going to deal with those decisions in Mass Effect 2, and going forward, is that we're creating alternate versions of all sorts of scenarios. We're almost creating, I hate to say 2 full games, but we're definitely creating more content that what a person will see on one playthrough."

All that is good and dandy but where does that leave the people I am talking about? The people who have not played ME so they do not have a save of the game. Especially seeing as it will probably(most likely as Bioware is now a EA property) a multiplatform title.

Microsoft still has publishing rights since they released the platinum release of ME this month.
Microsoft know how to keep exclusives and we all know that.
N64 is the ONLY console of the fifth generation!!!
I'm kind of sad if that's true, I wouldn't get to redeem my choices that I made the first time through the first game. I let Kaidan die so I could see the sex scene with Ashley which made me feel bad because I always had Kaidan in my party since Eden Prime.
Then, I let the council die so that the Earth fleet could liberate the Citadel, which I'm happy about.... Bastard council. . .
I do wonder though which ending will be considered canon.

uh........I do lol ^^
And that question doesn't just stand for the fact the game might go MP. What about those who played the first on PC but will be getting the next for 360, vice versa?

@forevercloud: I dunno. They obviously have to take it into consideration, but I'm glad they're working to make the experience better for people who played and loved the first game. If you're switching platforms, it seems worth the trouble and cost (the game is pretty cheap at this point) to buy it and play through it again to make use of this awesome feature, IMO.
