Though I do really hope this game makes over a million. Just need to advertise it and I think it could.

Gamestop had a huge advert right behind their counter for it a few days ago when I preordered it as well as Conduit.

Yeah this is definately great.

Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

I doubt it has anything to do with technical limitations, it's just preference. Gameplay wise, it usually makes more sense to go horizontal since most games have stuff coming at your from left and right, but not so much from above or below. Earth Defense Force however does has vertical splitscreen, probably because it DOES have airborne enemies, as well as land based ones.

But I personally think horizontal splitscreen on a widescreen just looks odd, so I like vertical. Red Steel actually let you choose vertical or horizontal.

looks like fun.

i don't know if vertical split screen would be good. most of your opponents are on the same plane as you are on, so attacks from above or below aren't as big of a concern... or so i assume.
