How is that logical? Logically it should be day-month-year like it already is in most places around the world
When you ask someone, "What is the date today?" you are asking for the day, you should only need to be reminded of the month or the year if you've been in a coma or have been time travelling.
Therefore the day should always be the first thing you look at and the first number listed.
