I wish people would stop listing BioShock 2 as a 360 exclusive...

I suppose it'll stop when people stop screaming "MGS4 COMING TO 360!" whenever Kojima says anything, even "I will be doing a talk on game development at GDC"...

Anyway, the lineup is pretty good. Though I doubt Mass Effect 2 will be 2009, wasn't that confirmed for Q1 2010?

You should wipe your specs a bit. No one listed BioShock 2 as a 360 exclusive. Its already been officially announced on 360 PS3.

Mass Effect 2 is out 2010.

I'm not concerned at all, seriously in what year has the 360 ever been devoid of good games??

The year it launched ? ;) Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo were both "meh". Call of Duty 2 *saved* the launch for me, even with the rather weak multiplayer and luckily we had Geometry Wars as a AAA Arcade title.

This year still seems really good so far even though I like the Wii the best so far this year.

- The Rest of Feb- Star Ocean, Stoked for Feb as 360 and PC exclusives

-  March - Halo Wars (exclusive), RE 5, Stormrise (360 exclusive?), Raiden Fighter Aces (retro for the win!)

- April - Ninja Blade, Riddick

-Sometime this year-  Splinter Cell Conviction, Halo 3 ODST, along with the three killer multiplatform games Tekken, BioShock 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

I don't know about you but that's enough for me. Do we really need more then a dozen games that will most likely rate over 85% a year? I have a Wii and DS, so It's not like I can afford more then 12 games a year - at full price anyways. I pre-ordered SFIV and RE5 and will probably do the same for Riddick, Splinter Cell and ODST.

Edit: I also forget the high possibility of Forza 3 hitting this year with the rumor of the "EU thrillah!" being Forza 3. IMHO Forza 2 >GT Prologue, don't know about the full GT5 obviously.

There, see? Fixed.

Where did it say it was exclusive?

He said Conviction, ODST, BioShock 2 and the two killer multiplats, suggesting that BioShock 2 isn't a multiplat.

Anyway, this is a pointless argument.

Why are people so concerned about MS in 2009 after the stellar years of 2007 and 2008?.

Couple of things to remember:
1) Businesses change corporate strategies all the time, I mean look at Sony "We don't buy exclusivity, oh wait now we do". When Nintendo and Sony do it, it's labelled a smart move. When MS does it "ZOMG MS is going down the drain because they didn't do the exact same thing they did last year!"

2) Given Nintendo's bad reception from "gamers" to Nintendo's second half of 2008, I doubt MS (who is more "core gamer" reliant) would be so stupid. (Notice the quotation marks, because even though I don't believe in the term "core gamer" I couldn't think of a better phrase).

Everything is fine, no need to create panic from a no-situation.

@Kantor and you care much to correct me, because? Sales will still be 2-3x on the 360 over PS3 sales.

It's just that simple.

Not if it's a true multiplatform release it won't.

Fine then. Bet me a year ban that in 31 days worth of sales. Bioshock 2 will atleast double PS3 sales when released on the same day. If It's not released on the same day you don't have to worry about it.
