I charge it around once a week, although I usually play while it is connected to the USB cable.

I don't have a dual shock.... but I charge the batteries in my remote about once every 2 weeks, though it depends how often the IR pointer is used as to if it needs it more often.

Igenerally get about 30-40 hours, but with an IR heavy game (one that keeps it on all the time) it can be as low as 20, but really only Zelda and RE4 seem to drain it that fast.

Standard shop bought alkalines (non-rechargable) last about 5-10 hours longer... but of course they then have to be thrown away.

actually it takes 3 hours from completely dead to full thats how its meant to be charged

i dont acually know its about once a week but sometimes its 2 or 3 day depending on how long last charge was... but i have 2 1 i play and the other charges and then they swap

I usually charge it when it gets around half way or sometimes on the last bar. I rarely use rumble so that usually helps to extend the time between charges.

I have a couple of six foot USB cables to extend the small one included with the PS3 so if I'm constantly playing like I was in the Killzone 2 beta for example, I can do both without a problem. Otherwise, I'll usually just plug it into my PC.

I have two controllers, and they both usally last about 6 - 8 days. It used to be a lot worse before they put the auto-off funtion in a few updates ago. Based off hours I am guessing 40 hours.

everyday....6 controllers...all get rotated being charged...i wish ps3 could connect 8 controllers at least...that way 2 of us dont have to sit when we play nba2k9

god i feel like a loser I play everyday at least 10 hours + so it usually needs to be charged every 3 days, however since my ps3 is pretty much a computer setup using my computer monitor as a display, sitting in a computer chair my ps3 is literally about 1 foot away from me so if i do get the Battery is low problem, plug it in and keep playing for 2 hours then uplug it and it's full charged.

I charge one whenever it needs to be recharged and while that one charges I just play with my second. I usually have to charge one probably every 6 days or so when I game on my PS3 alot. Lately I haven't been on it much though but once K2 drops I'll be back.
