Right, well they should expect criticism when IN THE VIDEO REVIEW they make fun of the PS3 saying "finally a game to play on PS3!" I'm totally shocked he didn't respond to complaints about that point (sarcasm).

It's hilarious that he spends more time bashing PS3 fans when supposedly complaining about the backlash of their review of the game. PS3 fans (such as myself) will never respect them as long as they act like little children giving video reviews of games, so it's no surprise that they received criticism about this review.

You can always find idiots on message boards that say ridiculous things, but you can also always count on Xplay having terrible writing because they think they are writing for comedy central without any qualifications to do so.

The haters hate on everything, regardless of whether they've played it or not. As long as it's on PS3, for these people, it's bad. I'm talking about the ones who called MGS4 a movie, LBP a level creator and are now claiming Killzone 2 has some imaginary control issues and saying that four frames (0.137 seconds) of command lag renders a game completely unplayable and horrendous.

They're also the ones who claim that a 90+ on Metacritic classifies a game as "AAA".

I won't pretend there are only anti-Sony ones, they have them on all consoles, but it mostly happens with a blockbuster title, and the blockbuster title of the hour is Killzone 2. After this, the hate will move onto The Conduit or something.

I was going to write a somewhat lengthy post concerning this Sessler dude, his opinions and pissy attitude. But now I can just quote this bit of text, point to it and say "pretty much that". Handy.

Then again, my local gaming mag gave KZ2 83/100, which is, IMO, closer to truth than any perfect score given to the game.

Hah, Sessler (and G4 stuff in general) get a lot of shit, but I still like him. The guy makes me laugh, he can't be all that bad...

People get all bent out of shape over such minor things... My favorite system atm is the Wii and they (X-Play) seem to bash it all the time, I could care less. People have an opinion, that's just how it goes.

I wish all this console bashing would stop...

Ah well, I got the gist of it. He made a couple of good points, I can see that many would see this as a highly unproffesional video but one must be allowed to have fun. I am confident that this is not the first video of its kind and equally confident that whoever made others didn't get this amount of pepper.
Sony are failing hard this gen and people can't get enough of it and many are loving every second of it (personally, I think a sound kick in the ass this gen will sharpen their senses and make them bring their A game next gen so it really could be a good thing), seeing the outrage over a very good game coming to the PS3 really shows the kind of anger issues people around the world have.

To those who refused to believe that G4 recieved any hate for the review; I see the average Vgchartz user still believes that only PS3 owners know how to act childish. It seems that this is false, browsing our very own forums should reveal as much.

Anyway, nice video, if it had worked properly but I'd take Angry Videogame Nerd any day over this!
