GT's glory days are long since over. I don't see it doing much more then GT:Prologue without a bundle. I'll guess 3-4 million GT:5 sales.

So you think the full game is going to barely outsell the 'glorified demo'.

So um, if the PS3 isn't likely to achieve 50% of the LTD sales of the PS2 and yet people think that GT5 is just going to merily follow the same sales patern as the previous games as if the console sales were still there?

Bah, Im going to predict 5M GT5 and 3.5M Forza 3 sales.

Forza will sell well in Europe, that is for sure. The install base will be like 9.8 million when Forza2 was released. Now it is likely to be around 35-38 million. So I think a 3-4 million is possible without bundles.

 

GT5 we don't know when it will be released, if they manage to release it this xmas, sales will be like 9-10 million (with bundles)



Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Well the GT fanbase is quite keen and therefore most likely comprised of people from the first 50% of PS2 LTD sales, so that changes nothing.

We have had the whole discussion about how when GT 3 launched it had a lower user base than the PS3 does now

So I predict:

Gran Turismo 5 10-11m
Forza 3: 2-3m

USA: 3.5 millions

EU/PAL: 2.5 millions

Japan: 1 millions

Total: 7 millions


Forza Motorsport 3:

USA: 2 millions

EU/PAL: 2 millions

Total: 4 millions

Halo has always had high numbers even on its poor selling consoled predecessors. GT is going to be as big as always. GT5P is approaching 3M. I see no reason why GT5 wont reach 9M or more
