| Sharky54 said: I bet you someone from sony and nintendo got together for lunch, the sony dude said they would have motion controlls to rub it in the face of the nintendo dude, and then the nintendo dude goes back and they revamp everything XD Also the six axis is better then the Wiimote. I shall explain. 1 its 60 dollars not 80 2 its more exact and doesnt require as much force as the wiimote 3 its more comfy. I cant hit the 1 and 2 buttons on the wiimote 4 the wiimote has only 1 stick :P Also if everyone hasnt seen this Sony upgrades their controllers every gen, as well as their discs. PS1 gave us sticks and CDs(not the first but meh) PS2 gave us a more refined controllers and the first DVD console PS3 gives us sixaxis and even more refined controls, oh and blu-ray. |
This is all false, well except maybe #3, why can't you hit the 1 and 2 buttons? And what game are you playing that requires it while using the wiimote as a pointer? A and B woork great but 1 and 2 are more for when playing NES games.. i think?
The WIImote is better than the SIXXAXIS for many reasons, here are my top reasons:
1) You don't have to keep your hands within 3 inches of each other, you can place them any where you want (much more comfy)
2) It has two seperate sets of sensors with individual sensors (awesome for games like raving rabids!)
3) It doubles as a pointer device
4) Games that use the motion sensor actually work (not like Lair!)
5) the WII mote is far more durable. I have dropped my wii motes and sixxaxis a few times. no wii motes broken yet, twoo Sixxxis broken so far. (Not really designed to be dropped so i wouldn't say it's a fault of the sixxaxis.. i am surprised the wii motes didn't break really.).
But they are both blu tooth. which is a bonus.
What sony should do is make the WII mote work with the PS3. It should be trivial (they are both blu tooth capable) an this will help both companies against XBOX 360 (which does not support blu tooth.. why???).
